In a quiet North Hills neighborhood, a devastating discovery inside a residential home on Londelius Avenue has left a family shattered and a community searching for answers after four people were found dead in what authorities are investigating as a murder-suicide.

Los Angeles police officers were called to the 16200 block of Londelius Avenue around 8 p.m. on Wednesday following reports of a shooting inside the home. When they arrived, they forced their way in and found a deeply tragic scene that immediately shifted the response from emergency rescue to criminal investigation.

Inside the residence, officers found 31-year-old Khajag Basmajian, a 2-year-old boy identified as Alec Basmajian, and a newborn baby girl, Ella Basmajian, who had only been alive for six days. All three were pronounced dead at the scene from gunshot wounds.

A fourth victim, a woman believed to be in her 30s, was also discovered inside the home. Authorities have not yet released her identity as they continue efforts to notify family members.

Investigators later confirmed the case is being treated as a murder-suicide. Police stated there is no ongoing search for additional suspects, indicating the incident is contained within the home.

The loss of a newborn and a toddler has hit the community with particular force. Neighbors described the house as normally quiet, never giving any outward sign of the violence that would later unfold inside.

One neighbor, Undreal Turner, said the shock spread quickly through the street as emergency lights filled the block. He described the situation as difficult to comprehend and emotionally overwhelming for residents nearby.

Crisis response teams from the mayor’s office arrived later to support grieving relatives and neighbors as the investigation continued, offering counseling and immediate emotional assistance to those affected.
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to determine what led to the deadly events inside the home, including the relationships between those involved and the circumstances that preceded the shooting.
