Police said officers were dispatched at approximately 2:26 a.m. to the 7400 block of Rangeline Road after receiving reports of a traffic accident involving a pedestrian and a commercial truck.

When first responders arrived, they found Norwood at the scene. Despite emergency efforts, she was pronounced dead where the collision occurred.
