Tyler Neil Alexander was just 19 years old. Late Sunday night, his life ended inside the Amazon Fulfillment Center in Bessemer, Alabama. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office confirmed his identity after he was found shot and pronounced dead at the scene at about 11:03 p.m.
The shooting happened inside the massive distribution facility in western Jefferson County. Emergency calls came in late Sunday reporting gunfire inside the building. When first responders arrived, they found Alexander suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to help him, he died there.
