Ranco Darell Jehisan had his whole life ahead of him. That all changed in a flash earlier this week inside a local hotel room. Now, a local family is completely heartbroken and looking for answers that simply aren’t there yet.
It all started bleeding out into the public eye on June 10. Local deputies got a panicked call about a shooting victim over on Kenmore Road. They rushed to the scene as fast as they could to see what was going on.

When first responders got to the scene, they found a man bleeding out from multiple gunshot wounds. That man was later identified as Ranco. Paramedics loaded him up and rushed him to a nearby hospital. Tragically, doctors couldn’t save him, and he was pronounced dead.
He wasn’t the only one caught in the crossfire that night. Another man showed up at the hospital a short time later with a bullet wound in his leg. Thankfully, medical staff expect this second victim to pull through and survive.
Crime scene investigators had to piece together exactly where this violence jumped off. They eventually tracked the clues back to the Hotel Del Sol right on Pensacola Boulevard. It turns out the whole nightmare happened inside one of the hotel rooms.
Cops say all three guys were hanging out inside that single room when things went south. Bullets started flying, leaving one man dead and another wounded. The peace of a quiet week was completely shattered.
Now, a 23-year-old named Ke’Shawn M. Warren is sitting behind bars for the crime. Deputies locked him up early Thursday morning around 2 a.m. at the Escambia County Jail. He is staring down heavy charges of homicide and attempted homicide.
As it stands, nobody knows why this tragedy happened. Detectives are still digging through the evidence and talking to witnesses. They are trying hard to figure out what sparked the deadly fight that took Ranco away forever.
