Sandidge twins, Kissimmee: Innocent five-year-old sisters tragically drown in backyard pool of vacation rental hours after arrival.

A family trip to sunny Florida turned into an absolute nightmare just hours after arrival. Two beautiful little girls lost their lives in a heartbreaking backyard accident. It is the kind of sudden tragedy that stops every parent completely cold in their tracks.

Five-year-old twins Paisley and Parker Sandidge were full of life and joy. They traveled down from Riverdale, Georgia, for a fun summer vacation. The family was incredibly excited to spend time together near Walt Disney World. They checked into their short-term rental house with big smiles and happy plans.

But things went terribly wrong less than twelve hours after they unpacked their bags. The little girls somehow ended up in the backyard swimming pool. Nobody saw them slip into the water. It happened in the absolute blink of an eye.

Their mother had stepped out for a quick run to the local grocery store. She left the twins at the rental home with a fifteen-year-old family member. While the mom was away, the teenager suddenly realized the twins were missing. The teen looked outside and found both girls completely unresponsive in the water.

The panicked teenager dialed 911 right away to get emergency help. First responders rushed to the home and did everything they could. An emergency helicopter airlifted the little girls to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. Sadly, the doctors could not save them, and both twins passed away.

Now, a heartbroken community is trying to wrap its arms around the grieving mother, Courtney Sandidge. A family friend named Britney Mitchell started a fundraiser online to help out. She described the sweet sisters as bright little lights who brought joy to everyone. The fund is raising money to help cover the massive unexpected funeral and burial costs.

No mother should ever have to say goodbye to her babies like this. The community has already stepped up to raise over $17,000 in just a couple of days. People are sending their love and prayers from all over the country. It is a long, painful road ahead for a mother who lost her whole world in an instant.
