The community is deeply saddened by the passing of Kyle Edward Phillips. He passed away at the age of 51 at his home. His sudden departure has left his family and friends with incredibly heavy hearts. Everyone remembers him as a man of true dedication and deep love.
Kyle came into this world on May 13, 1974. He was born in Lawrence County, Indiana. He was the cherished son of Boyd Edward Phillips and Mary Jo Phillips. From an early age, Kyle learned the value of honesty and hard work. These traits stayed with him throughout his whole journey.

Above everything else in life, Kyle was a truly devoted father. His two sons, Silas Phillips and Liam Phillips, were his absolute pride and joy. He loved them with all his heart. He worked tirelessly every single day to guide, support, and encourage them as they grew up.
When he was not working, Kyle always found his peace out in nature. He was a passionate hunter and an avid fisherman. He truly loved the quiet adventure that the woods and water offered. These outdoor trips became wonderful memories shared with the people he loved most.
To support his family, Kyle spent over three decades working as a highly skilled electrician. He started his journey by completing a rigorous apprenticeship. Later, he spent many successful years working for General Motors. He was also a very proud member of the IBEW union.
His passing leaves a major gap in a very loving family. Kyle is survived by his beloved sons, Silas and Liam. He also leaves behind his mother, Mary Jo, and his sisters, Theresa Morgan and Denise Haggard. His two nephews, Jared Haggard and Blake Davis, will miss him dearly too. He was preceded in death by his father, Boyd.
Family and friends are now gathering to celebrate the life of this wonderful man. They will always remember his unwavering loyalty and his generous spirit. Even though he is gone, his values will live on through his children. His love will never be forgotten by those who knew him.
