Austin: ‘Lil Josh’ Found Dead on Brazoria Lane in Northwest Neighborhood

Brazoria Lane — Neighbors woke to the sound of gunfire early Friday and found 35‑year‑old “Lil Josh” lying unresponsive in the 10900 block of Brazoria Lane. Officers who arrived shortly after the calls discovered obvious trauma and pronounced him dead at the scene about 1:09 a.m.

The Austin Police Department said this marks the city’s second homicide in under 12 hours. Detectives have not arrested anyone and have released no suspect description. It is not yet known whether the victim and the shooter knew each other.
