Cincinnati Shooting: Micha Willis and D’Ariz Bray Killed in Roll Hill Tragedy

CINCINNATI — The quiet streets of Villages at Roll Hill turned into a crime scene early Wednesday after 22-year-old Micha Willis and 19-year-old D’Ariz Bray were shot and killed in the middle of the night. The gunfire shattered the calm around 2 a.m., leaving two young men dead before sunrise.

Police said officers were sent to the area after a ShotSpotter alert detected gunfire. When they arrived, they found both men suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers and medics tried to save them, but both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators quickly sealed off several blocks. Patrol cars lined the streets. Yellow tape stretched across corners where neighbors usually walk their kids to school. The mood was tense and heavy as detectives began collecting evidence in the dark.

Video from WLWT showed a car crashed into a playground inside the taped-off area. The vehicle sat at an odd angle, raising questions about whether it was connected to the gunfire. Police have not confirmed how it fits into the case.

For families of Willis and Bray, the loss is sudden and devastating. Two young lives ended in a matter of moments. Friends gathered nearby later in the morning, trying to make sense of what happened in their own neighborhood.

Police have not released any information about suspects. No arrests have been announced. Detectives are working to piece together what led to the shooting and who may be responsible.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. As the investigation continues, Roll Hill residents are left facing hard questions about safety and what sparked the violence that took two sons from their community in the early hours of the day.
