York County Shooting: Nidair Jordon Collier Found Dead in Hartley Street Breezeway

York County is reeling after the death of 31-year-old Nidair Jordon Collier, who was found early Friday morning in York City in what investigators have now confirmed as a homicide. His body was discovered on the 200 block of South Hartley Street, tucked in a breezeway between residential homes.

Police were first called to the scene around 5:30 a.m. after reports came in about an unresponsive man. When officers arrived, they found Collier already down and not responding. Emergency crews followed soon after, but it was clear the situation was grave from the start.

By around 9 a.m., the county coroner was requested to the scene to officially certify the death. The area remained blocked off as investigators worked through early evidence and began documenting what happened in those critical hours.

An autopsy later completed on Saturday confirmed the cause of death. Officials determined Collier suffered multiple gunshot wounds along with sharp force trauma. That finding pushed the case firmly into homicide territory.

So far, investigators have not released a clear motive. They are still trying to understand what led to the deadly encounter and whether Collier was targeted or caught in a sudden confrontation.

Police have identified Angelica Caraballo as a person of interest. She is being sought for questioning as detectives continue piecing together the events leading up to the killing. Authorities have not said what connection, if any, exists between her and Collier.

York City Police are asking the public for help. Anyone who was near South Hartley Street around the early morning hours or noticed anything unusual is urged to come forward, even if the detail seems small or unrelated.

Officials say the investigation is still active, and more updates will be released as new information becomes available and leads develop in the case.
