State troopers say the accident took place just after 6:30 p.m. near mile marker 23. That is right up past Gilead Road. Jordan was riding a 2001 Kawasaki 900 down the main highway lanes.

Investigators noted that Jordan moved into the toll express lanes through a spot that was not authorized. A gray Tesla was already traveling south inside that restricted lane. The motorcycle and the car collided heavily.

Emergency crews rushed out to the scene as fast as they could. First responders did everything possible to save him. Sadly, Jordan passed away right there from his severe injuries.
