Robeson County Michael Graham Found Dead After Days Missing

Robeson County woke up to hard news this week as deputies confirmed the death of Michael Graham, a 30-year-old man from Red Springs who had been reported missing. His body was found in a quiet cemetery, ending a short but troubling search that had left family and friends anxious and afraid.

Deputies with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office responded early Monday, February 9, 2026, after a report came in about a suspicious vehicle. The call led them to a cemetery along Fodiesville Road in the Shannon community. When they arrived, they found Graham deceased at the scene.

Investigators say Graham was last seen just after midnight, around 12:40 a.m. on Sunday, February 8. He was driving a 2016 charcoal gray Ford Fusion near Old Lowery Road in Red Springs. That sighting would become the final known moment he was seen alive.

The Sheriff’s Office Homicide Division quickly took over the case. Detectives began piecing together Graham’s final hours, looking closely at where he traveled and who he may have been with before he disappeared.

The Red Springs Police Department is working alongside county investigators. Federal agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are also assisting, a sign that authorities are taking the case seriously and exploring every angle.

Residents who live near Old Lowery Road and Fodiesville Road are being asked to check home and business cameras. Investigators believe even a small detail, a passing car or a strange movement, could help explain how Graham ended up at the cemetery.

For now, many questions remain unanswered. The Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues, with the hope that answers will bring clarity and some measure of peace to those who knew Michael Graham.
