Sandidge twins, Kissimmee: Five-year-old identical sisters tragically drown in a rental home pool just hours after arriving for a dream Disney vacation.

An entire Georgia community is completely heartbroken after a family vacation turned into an absolute nightmare. Two beautiful five-year-old twin girls lost their lives in a tragic pool accident. The sweet sisters were visiting Florida with their family for a fun summer trip near Walt Disney World. Now, their grieving mother is facing a reality that no parent should ever have to go through.

The little girls were identified as Paisley and Parker Sandidge from Riverdale, Georgia. They had just arrived at their short-term vacation rental house with their family. They were so excited for their big summer trip. Sadly, they were at the property for less than twelve hours before the tragedy happened.

The family actually got to the rental home in the middle of the night around one in the morning. The kids were so energetic that they went for a quick swim right away. After they got out of the water, everyone headed to bed. The adults believed the back door leading to the pool area was locked tight for the night.

The next morning, the adults woke up and decided to run some quick errands. They left the house to go grab some grocery items and food provisions for the vacation stay. A fifteen-year-old teenager stayed behind at the house to keep an eye on the little ones. However, investigators say the teenager accidentally fell back asleep.

While the teenager was sleeping, another child in the house woke up and started looking around. That child noticed that the five-year-old twins were completely missing from their rooms. The child searched the house and eventually spotted the girls floating unresponsive in the backyard swimming pool. The teenager woke up and immediately called nine-one-one for help.

Emergency responders rushed to the home just after eleven in the morning. Paramedics tried their absolute best to save the girls and perform CPR on the scene. The twin sisters were quickly airlifted by helicopter to the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando. Sadly, despite all the medical efforts, both sweet girls passed away.

Now, a close family friend has stepped up to help the heartbroken mother, Courtney Sandidge. An online fundraiser was set up to help pay for the heavy funeral and burial costs. People from all over the country are sending love and money to help out. So far, the community has raised thousands of dollars to support the family through this unimaginable grief.
