It happened around 2:37 a.m. on the elevated connector ramp linking westbound State Highway 358, also known as South Padre Island Drive, to northbound State Highway 286, the Crosstown Expressway.
According to investigators with the Corpus Christi Police Department, the vehicle struck a concrete barrier before flipping in a violent rollover sequence.
Diamond Puebla, who was riding as a passenger, was thrown from the vehicle during the crash and suffered severe, life-threatening injuries at the scene.
