Route 422, Cambria County — Kallin Eget Remembered After Fatal Head-On Crash Near Pine Township

Kallin Eget, 28, of Indiana, is being remembered after a tragic crash Wednesday afternoon along Route 422 near the Cambria and Indiana County line. The collision happened just after noon in the Pine Township area and has left a deep sense of grief across her community.

Emergency crews were called to the scene after reports of a serious head-on collision involving a flatbed truck. Officials say Eget was driving when her vehicle crossed the center line and struck the truck directly.

The force of the impact caused severe injuries to Eget. First responders quickly rushed her from the scene by air to Conemaugh Hospital in Johnstown, where medical staff worked urgently to save her life.
