MACON, Georgia — The Macon community woke up Thursday to heartbreaking news after 24‑year‑old Quintavious Vincent Johnson was found dead inside his cell at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. Corrections deputies and medical staff discovered him unresponsive during their regular morning medication rounds just after 8:30 a.m., authorities said. Life‑saving steps were taken right away, but Johnson was pronounced dead by Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley about an hour later.
