The loss of 22-year-old Anatolli Krylomaka has left family members, friends, and residents across Bensalem Township struggling to come to terms with a heartbreaking tragedy that unfolded on an ordinary Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities said the fatal crash happened around 4:48 p.m. near the intersection of Bristol Road and Chestnut Avenue in Bucks County. Investigators determined that Krylomaka was driving a Toyota RAV4 when the vehicle became involved in a devastating four-vehicle collision.
According to police, the crash occurred after Krylomaka was reportedly involved in a domestic-related incident in neighboring Lower Southampton Township. Investigators said he left the area and was traveling eastbound on Bristol Road at a high rate of speed shortly before the collision.
Officials stated that the Toyota crossed into oncoming traffic while attempting to pass another vehicle. The SUV then struck a Hyundai Kona before becoming airborne in a dramatic and violent sequence of events. The vehicle later collided with a Honda SUV and a Ford pickup truck before overturning.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found Krylomaka partially ejected from the overturned Toyota. Emergency crews rushed to provide medical assistance, but the injuries he suffered were too severe. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Bucks County Coroner’s Office later confirmed that Krylomaka died from blunt force injuries sustained during the crash. Investigators described the impact as catastrophic, with debris scattered across the roadway and significant damage to multiple vehicles.
Witnesses told authorities that Krylomaka and his mother had reportedly argued before the incident. According to those accounts, he allegedly took the vehicle keys and drove away. However, police have stressed that investigators have not determined whether the earlier dispute directly contributed to the crash.
Two other people were reportedly injured during the collision, though officials have released limited information about their conditions. Investigators continue reviewing witness statements, physical evidence, and available surveillance footage as they work to establish exactly what happened.
