Desert Hot Springs, California, is grieving the loss of 25-year-old Anthony De La Rosa after a deadly crash near Palm Springs International Airport in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Authorities say the incident happened around 2:00 a.m. along East Tahquitz Canyon Way. Anthony was reportedly driving at a high speed when he lost control of his vehicle.

Investigators believe the car then went airborne before slamming into a parked vehicle inside an airport parking lot. The impact was severe and immediate.
Anthony was thrown from the vehicle during the crash. He suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
