Manassas Harbor Drive Crash: Joseph Franklin Ledoux Dies in Afternoon Collision

Manassas Harbor Drive saw a deadly two-vehicle crash that left one man dead and another injured on a Friday afternoon. The incident happened just before 2:30 p.m. near a private road across from 12730 Harbor Drive in Prince William County.

Police say 41-year-old Joseph Franklin Ledoux of Manassas was driving a 2014 Hyundai Sonata when he pulled out from a private road onto Harbor Drive. At that moment, a 2018 Dodge Durango was traveling southbound on the main road.

The Dodge Durango struck the Hyundai as it entered traffic. The impact was severe enough that Ledoux was pronounced dead at the scene by responding authorities.

The driver of the Dodge Durango, a 25-year-old man from Woodbridge, survived the crash. He suffered injuries that were described as not life-threatening and received treatment afterward.

Investigators with Prince William County police responded quickly and secured the area. Traffic was affected as crews worked to document the scene and gather early evidence.
Authorities have not yet determined what caused the crash. They have confirmed that the investigation is still open and ongoing.
