St. Louis County Man Killed in Lucas and Hunt Road Overnight Crash

A quiet stretch of north St. Louis County turned tragic early Saturday morning after an adult man was struck and killed by a vehicle along Lucas and Hunt Road, leaving investigators piecing together the final moments of his life.

Police say the crash happened around 1:26 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026, in the 9000 block of Lucas and Hunt Road. Officers from the St. Louis County Police Department’s North County Precinct rushed to the scene after receiving a call about a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.

When officers arrived, they found an adult male lying in the roadway. Authorities say he had been struck by at least one vehicle while on the road. Despite emergency efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
