Fairfield, Maine — Jason Grant, a 46-year-old man from nearby Oakland, was found dead early Saturday morning on the shoulder of Martin Stream Road, and state police are still piecing together what exactly happened.
Just before 9 a.m. on January 24, Fairfield officers answered a 911 call reporting a person lying unresponsive on the side of the road. When they arrived, Grant was already gone. Troopers from the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit were brought in to help with the investigation.
