Saginaw County: Amber Moore Dies After Motorcycle Crash Near Birch Run Township

Saginaw County, Michigan — The Mt. Morris community is in deep mourning after the death of 31-year-old Amber Moore, who lost her life in a motorcycle crash on Monday evening in Saginaw County.

The crash happened around 8:10 p.m. along Gera Road near Lange Road in Birch Run Township, just south of Frankenmuth. It was a quiet stretch of road that turned tragic in seconds.

According to investigators from the Saginaw County Sheriff’s Office, Amber Moore was riding a Yamaha R6 motorcycle heading southbound when she was involved in a collision with a GMC Terrain, which was also traveling in the same direction.

Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene and tried to save her life. Despite their efforts, Amber Moore was pronounced dead at the location because of the severity of her injuries.

The driver of the GMC Terrain, a 62-year-old woman from Arkansas, survived the crash without serious injuries. Officials have not released her name as the investigation continues.

Authorities say they are still looking into what exactly led to the collision. They are reviewing evidence from the roadway, speaking with witnesses, and examining all possible factors that may have played a role.
