She was not the only person placed in extreme danger during that chaotic night. Another deputy standing on the scene was hurt by flying debris from the violent crash. Thankfully, that deputy was treated quickly and later released from the hospital to recover at home. The entire scene remained pure chaos for hours as emergency crews worked under the highway lights.
