Claiborne County — Stacey Vinsant Killed in State Route 63 Head-On Crash

CLAIBORNE COUNTY, Tenn. — The quiet stretch of State Route 63 turned tragic Sunday afternoon when a head-on collision claimed the life of Stacey Vinsant, leaving a tight-knit community in shock and mourning.

The crash happened around 4:45 p.m. near Ausmus Lane, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Investigators said a Toyota Camry traveling westbound crossed into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with a Honda Accord. The impact was severe and immediate.

There were two people inside each vehicle at the time. Stacey Vinsant was riding as a passenger in the Toyota. Authorities said she suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead as a result of the crash. All four individuals involved were wearing seatbelts.
