High Point, N.C.: The city is grieving the sudden death of 22-year-old Jeremiah Dallas after a late-night shooting at a home on Hidden Creek Terrace off Brentwood Street.
It happened around 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday when police responded to reports of gunfire in the quiet neighborhood. When officers arrived, they found Jeremiah outside the home with a gunshot wound.
Emergency responders rushed in and tried to save him right there in the yard. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
