A tight-knit Minnesota community is dealing with an incredibly heavy loss this week. Dana Lucker-Milan, a vibrant 31-year-old woman from Stillwater, died in a sudden motorcycle crash on Wednesday night. The tragedy has sent shockwaves through local neighborhoods and the regional riding scene. Friends and family are left trying to make sense of a life cut far too short.
The fatal collision happened right around 8:30 p.m. at a busy intersection in town. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Lucker-Milan was riding her 2017 Harley Davidson XL883 northbound on Highway 61. At the exact same time, 63-year-old Robert Marines Rodriguez of White Bear Lake was driving a 2025 Jeep Compass southbound.

Everything changed in a split second when Rodriguez attempted to make a turn. Investigators stated that the Jeep turned eastbound onto Highway 96, cutting straight across the intersection. Lucker-Milan could not avoid the vehicle and collided violently with the passenger side of the SUV. Emergency crews rushed to the scene to provide medical aid.
First responders moved quickly to save the young rider. They transported Lucker-Milan to Regions Hospital with severe injuries. Sadly, doctors pronounced her dead a short time later. State patrol records show that Rodriguez was not injured in the crash, and alcohol did not play a role in the incident.
For those who knew Dana, motorcycles were much more than just a casual hobby. Riding was a core piece of her identity and her ultimate source of freedom. She grew up with a deep respect for the open road and the culture surrounding it. Her friends say she found her greatest moments of pure joy while sitting behind the handlebars.
Dana was also known as an incredibly tough and resilient person. She had previously bounced back from a serious riding injury with total determination. She refused to let fear keep her away from the lifestyle she loved so much. That fierce drive defined who she was to everyone around her.
The local riding community is now mourning a massive void that cannot be filled. Dana had a natural gift for making
