Anna Maureen LeCoq, Woodruff: 27-Year-Old Woman Dies After Crash on Aiken Road

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. — A Friday evening drive in the Woodruff area ended in tragedy when 27-year-old Anna Maureen LeCoq lost her life following a motor vehicle collision on Aiken Road.

Authorities said the crash happened around 8:25 p.m. on June 5 in the Woodruff community of Spartanburg County. Emergency responders rushed to the scene and LeCoq was later transported to Spartanburg Medical Center for treatment.

Despite medical efforts, LeCoq succumbed to the injuries she suffered in the collision. Her death was confirmed by Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger.

Officials identified the victim as Anna Maureen LeCoq, a Woodruff resident who lived on Bridwell Road. News of her death has added another layer of heartbreak for family members, friends, and community residents who are now mourning the loss of a young woman whose life ended far too soon.
