Daniel Martinez Sanger, Texas: High school graduate’s life cut short in late-night crash near FM 455

Daniel Martinez was a 2025 graduate of Sanger High School, remembered as a young man with clear direction and quiet discipline. On Thursday, May 28, at around 10:30 p.m., his life ended suddenly in a two-vehicle crash near FM 455 and Lake Crest Drive, just east of Sanger, Texas.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene after reports of a serious collision. Sanger Fire/EMS, Pilot Point EMS, and local law enforcement all responded within minutes. What they found was a heavily damaged crash site involving two vehicles, with debris scattered across the roadway.
