Sarcoxie, Jasper County, Missouri — A quiet Friday morning turned into a crime scene after a married couple was found dead inside their home in Sarcoxie.
Authorities identified the couple as David S. Harrison, 62, and Aleasha Harrison, 58. Both were discovered inside their residence after deputies responded to a welfare check call shortly before 8:45 a.m. on June 5, 2026.

According to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, the call came in after reports that two people were believed to be deceased inside the home. Deputies arrived and confirmed both individuals were dead at the scene.
Investigators said both David and Aleasha Harrison had suffered gunshot wounds. The residence was immediately secured as detectives moved in to begin processing the scene and collecting evidence.
