North St. Louis County was shaken after a deadly crash on Highway 367 near Chambers Road claimed the lives of three women, including Cherese Fisher, her 18-year-old niece Jordyn, and 28-year-old Andrea Medina.

The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. on May 1. It unfolded in a fast-moving chain reaction that involved three separate vehicles and left no chance for survival for those who died.

Authorities said a 2013 Cadillac SRX traveling southbound first sideswiped a 2020 Lexus RX350. The Lexus was driven by a 53-year-old woman with her niece, Jordyn, seated as a passenger.

After the impact, the Lexus was pushed into a 2013 Toyota Highlander driven by Andrea Medina, 28. The force of the collisions set off a sequence that quickly turned deadly on the roadway.

Investigators reported that the Cadillac then ran off the road and struck a tree. All three women involved in the fatal outcomes were pronounced dead at the scene by responding troopers.

Family members later identified the victims. Cherese Fisher, 53, was among those killed. Her niece Jordyn, described on social media as a recent prom queen preparing to graduate and move on to college, also died in the crash.

Andrea Medina, 28, who was driving the Toyota Highlander, was also confirmed among the deceased. Community posts and local messages quickly spread condolences and prayers for the families affected by the tragedy.
