FISHERS Indiana — A quiet Monday night turned tragic when Austin Lemnos was killed in a motorcycle crash at a busy Fishers intersection, leaving the community in shock and investigators searching for answers.
The crash happened around 7:50 p.m. at the intersection of Allisonville Road and Harrison Parkway, close to the entrance of the Harrison Park housing subdivision. The area sits just north of the well-known Conner Prairie living-history museum, a normally calm part of town that quickly turned into an active emergency scene.

Police said the Fishers Police Department responded immediately, along with the Fishers Fire Department. They were joined by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and the Noblesville Police Department. Multiple agencies worked together to secure the area and assist at the scene.
Emergency crews spent hours at the intersection as investigators began piecing together what led to the crash. The scene remained active late into the night as authorities carefully examined the roadway and surrounding area.
Due to the severity of the incident, Allisonville Road was shut down for several hours. Drivers were diverted at 131st Street and 141st Street while police asked the public to avoid the area entirely.
Officials released very few details about what caused the crash. Fishers Police Major Ryan Jones confirmed in an email that no further information was available at the time, and the investigation was still ongoing.
The sudden loss of Austin Lemnos has left a painful void for those who knew him. His death has become the center of grief in the Fishers community as friends, family, and neighbors try to come to terms with the tragedy.
Authorities say the investigation remains open as they work to determine exactly how the crash happened and what factors may have been involved.
