North County St. Louis turned into a scene of heartbreak Friday night after a violent crash on Highway 367 near Chambers Road claimed three lives. The collision unfolded in a matter of seconds but left behind a grief that will linger for years.
Authorities say a 2013 Cadillac SRX was traveling southbound when it sideswiped a 2020 Lexus RX350. The Lexus was driven by a 53-year-old woman with her 18-year-old passenger, Jordyn, inside. The impact set off a chain reaction that no one had time to escape.

After the sideswipe, the Lexus lost control and crossed into oncoming traffic. It then collided head-on with a northbound 2013 Toyota Highlander driven by 28-year-old Andrea Medina. The force of the impact was devastating.
All three women involved in the crash were pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency responders arrived quickly, but there was nothing they could do to save them. The roadway was later shut down for hours as investigators worked through the wreckage.
The victims have been identified as 18-year-old Jordyn, 28-year-old Andrea Medina, and 53-year-old Cherese Fisher. Each of them had a life, a routine, and people waiting for them to come home that night.
Family friends say Jordyn had been having one of the brightest seasons of her life. She had recently been crowned prom queen, celebrated her birthday, and was just weeks away from graduation. That future ended suddenly on the highway.
Andrea Medina, 28, was remembered as someone who carried quiet strength. Those who knew her described her as steady and responsible, the kind of person who kept her life moving forward with purpose.
