NORWOOD Ohio Ally Nicole Hill, a 26-year-old woman, was killed after a sudden stabbing inside a Skyline Chili restaurant on Montgomery Road during the early afternoon rush.
It happened around 12:30 p.m. on June 2, when emergency calls came in reporting violence inside the restaurant. People inside were eating lunch when the situation escalated without warning.

Police arrived quickly and found Hill suffering from severe stab wounds. First responders moved fast, rushing her to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Doctors worked to save her life, but she later died from her injuries. Her death turned a normal afternoon into a scene of shock for employees and customers nearby.
Investigators identified the suspect as Rick Wright, who was taken into custody not far from the restaurant shortly after the incident. He was detained without further struggle at the scene area.
Authorities have not yet said what triggered the attack. They are still trying to figure out if the victim and suspect knew each other or if the confrontation was random.
Police described the situation as isolated, saying there is no ongoing threat to the public. Still, the area was sealed off for hours as evidence was collected and witnesses were interviewed.
The investigation continues as detectives reconstruct the moments leading up to the stabbing, trying to understand how a routine lunch hour turned deadly.
