Bibb County Teen Harrison Doyle Morris, 16, was killed Saturday evening after a Dodge Ram 1500 overturned near Vinson Road and Liberty Church Road in Bibb County. He was riding in the truck bed when the vehicle left the roadway and rolled.
The crash happened around 7:51 p.m. on April 11, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators said the driver lost control while trying to maneuver off the roadway, leading to the rollover.

Morris was thrown from the truck bed during the impact. Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones confirmed he died at the scene before emergency crews could transport him.
He was just 16 years old, and those close to the situation described a sudden, violent crash that unfolded in seconds. What started as a routine drive ended in a fatal turn on a rural stretch of road.
Three other teenagers were inside the truck at the time. The 16-year-old driver, a front-seat passenger, and a 15-year-old rear passenger all survived the crash but suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
All three injured teens were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officials said their conditions were stable following the incident.
Authorities confirmed the investigation is still active. The Sheriff’s Office has asked anyone with information about the crash to come forward as they work to understand exactly what led to the rollover.
Friends and family are now left dealing with the shock of a life cut short, as investigators continue piecing together the final moments before the truck overturned.
