CULPEPER, VIRGINIA — The community is grieving the sudden death of 20-year-old Jared Brundage after a fatal motorcycle crash late Thursday night on Colonel Jameson Boulevard.
The crash happened around 11:00 p.m. on April 23, 2026. Brundage was riding westbound when he reportedly lost control of his motorcycle. The bike struck a curb, and he was thrown off into a nearby light pole.
Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene. They began life-saving efforts immediately, working against the clock to stabilize him.
He was rushed to UVA Culpeper Hospital. Despite all efforts by medical staff, he later died from his injuries.
News of his passing spread fast through Culpeper. Friends and family say the loss feels unreal, like a sudden stop to a young life that still had so much ahead of it.
