Titusville, Pennsylvania Crash Claims Dustin Dingle After High-Speed SUV Overturns

Titusville, Pennsylvania — A quiet early morning in Titusville turned tragic after a deadly crash claimed the life of Dustin Dingle, a 34-year-old man from Union City.

It happened just after 3:30 a.m. on April 28 at the intersection of North Franklin Street and Union Street. Police say the call came in at about 3:36 a.m., sending officers rushing to the scene.

When officers arrived, they found a Chevy Trailblazer lying upside down on its roof. The front of the SUV was heavily damaged, showing the force of the impact.

The vehicle was also partially on fire when first responders reached it. Firefighters from the Titusville Fire Department quickly moved in and were able to put out the flames before they spread further.

Authorities confirmed that the driver, Dustin Dingle, did not survive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators believe the SUV left the roadway and hit a tree before overturning. Evidence and surveillance footage from nearby cameras suggest the vehicle was traveling northbound on Franklin Street at a high rate of speed moments before the crash.

Police have not released additional details yet. The investigation is still ongoing as officials work to understand everything that led up to the crash, including speed and road conditions.
