Edith Vaughn’s death has left the Cub Run community in Kentucky shaken and searching for clarity. The 38-year-old was discovered unresponsive inside a green tent at Dog Creek Campground on Saturday afternoon.
Kentucky State Police say the discovery was made after the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office received a call around midday about a possible body at the recreation site. Troopers from KSP Post 3 were sent immediately to the scene.
When officers arrived, they located Vaughn inside the tent and confirmed she had died. The Hart County Coroner’s Office later pronounced her deceased at the campground.
