Wilmer, Ala.: A quiet Mobile County community is now at the center of a disturbing investigation after three people were found dead inside a home on Auble Moody Road early Monday morning. Authorities say the scene has left even seasoned investigators shaken by its level of violence.
The victims have been identified as 46-year-old Lisa Ferguson, her 17-year-old daughter Keziah Luker, and 12-year-old Thomas Cordell. Officials confirmed during a briefing that Keziah Luker was pregnant at the time of her death, adding another layer of heartbreak to an already devastating case.

According to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, a family member was the one who discovered the scene inside the residence and immediately called for help. Deputies arrived and confirmed all three victims were deceased inside the home where they lived.
Investigators believe the killings happened sometime overnight. Sheriff Paul Burch described the situation as deeply violent and said all three victims had their hands bound behind their backs with what appeared to be zip ties or flex cuffs before they were killed.
Authorities said Lisa Ferguson suffered both stabbing injuries and a fatal throat wound. Keziah Luker was shot, and 12-year-old Thomas Cordell also died from a throat injury. Officials described the interior of the home as chaotic and disturbed, suggesting the residence had been searched or ransacked.
Sheriff Burch noted that a toddler, about 18 months old, was also inside the home during the incident but was not physically harmed. That detail has become one of the few points of relief in an otherwise tragic scene.
At this time, investigators have not identified a suspect. Authorities also said there is no clear indication that the killings were tied to a domestic or family dispute, and the case remains wide open as detectives continue gathering evidence.
