Englewood, Ohio Crash: Rondel Marsh Dies After Fiery I-75 Collision Near Hancock County

Englewood, Ohio is in deep mourning after a deadly crash took the life of 49-year-old Rondel Marsh during the early hours of April 19, 2026. The incident happened along Interstate 75 in Hancock County, leaving a family shattered and a quiet community in grief.

It happened just before 3 a.m. on northbound I-75 near milepost 145 in Union Township. A Chevrolet Silverado carrying Rondel Marsh and others was traveling north when a Dodge Charger came up fast from behind. The impact was sudden and violent.

The force of the rear-end collision pushed the Silverado off the road. The vehicle flipped over and came to a hard stop off the right side of the interstate. The Dodge Charger also stopped on the shoulder, badly damaged from the crash.

Rondel Marsh, who was riding inside the Silverado, did not survive the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His death has left his loved ones stunned, trying to process how quickly everything changed in a matter of seconds.

Also inside the Silverado were 19-year-old Ryan Marsh, who suffered minor injuries, and Jeanine Marsh, who was driving. Jeanine was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the crash.

Inside the Dodge Charger, 31-year-old Besly Sidelca sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. The driver of the Charger, 21-year-old Samenda Moreau, was also injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.

Investigators believe alcohol may have played a role in the crash. Officials confirmed that everyone in the Silverado was wearing seatbelts. Seatbelt use in the Charger is still being reviewed as part of the ongoing investigation.

Emergency crews worked for hours in the early morning darkness to clear the wreckage and secure the area. Several agencies responded quickly to assist with medical care, traffic control, and recovery efforts.

For Englewood, this is more than a crash report. It is the loss of a man remembered by those close to him for his presence and the moments he shared with family. His absence now leaves a silence that will not be easily filled.
