Harlan, Iowa: Jacob Buman, 19, Dies After Motorcycle Crash in Shelby County

Harlan, Iowa — Jacob Buman, 19, from Harlan, Iowa, lost his life on a Wednesday evening after a serious motorcycle crash in Shelby County. The incident happened along County Road M-16, just north of Shelby, leaving the local community in shock and deep sadness.

He was riding a 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle heading north when he collided with the rear of a farm sprayer. The agricultural vehicle, a 2010 Apache 715, was also traveling north and had begun a left turn into a rural driveway.
