A quiet night on Stillwood Drive in Clarksville turned deadly when 22-year-old Samarah Nashae was fatally stabbed inside a home in what police describe as a domestic-related incident involving Cam’Ron Walker.
Officers with the Clarksville Police Department responded to reports of a stabbing at about 9:25 p.m. When they arrived at the residence, they found Samarah Nashae suffering from severe injuries inside the home.


Emergency crews rushed her to Vanderbilt Clarksville for urgent medical treatment. Despite efforts by doctors and hospital staff, she was later pronounced dead.
Police say Cam’Ron Walker was still at the scene when officers arrived. He was taken into custody without any incident and later booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a homicide charge.
The Clarksville Police Special Operations Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Unit were both called in. They processed the home and collected evidence to understand what led to the deadly confrontation.
Investigators confirmed the case is being treated as domestic-related, adding another layer of pain to a situation that has already left the community shaken and grieving.
Friends, family, and community members are now mourning the loss of Samarah Nashae, whose life ended suddenly and violently at just 22 years old.
Police continue to investigate the full sequence of events and are asking anyone with information or video footage to come forward as they work to bring clarity to what happened inside the home that night.
