Fair Haven Township — Tina Timmers, 56, of the St. Augusta community, lost her life in a violent two-vehicle crash on Sunday evening in Stearns County.
The crash happened near the intersection of County Road 7 and County Road 44 at about 7:20 p.m. on April 12. Authorities say a Ford Expedition entered the intersection and collided with a northbound Dodge Ram.
The impact was severe enough to force the SUV to roll. Tina Timmers, who was riding as a passenger in the Ford Expedition, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
Emergency responders arrived quickly and tried life-saving measures at the scene. Despite their efforts, she was pronounced dead at the location of the crash.
Her death has left family and friends in shock. Those close to her are now struggling with grief as they try to process a sudden loss that came without warning.
Several other people involved in the crash were injured. They were taken to St. Cloud Hospital for medical treatment. Their conditions have not been fully detailed.
